When you need a project

  • Free block with shadcnNo CoBlick project is needed. Use the public command on the block page.
  • Pro block with shadcnCreate a project so a project token can confirm access for this app.
  • Connected coding agentCreate a project so the agent knows the framework, paths, theme, and blocks for the app it is changing.

Create a project

  1. 1
    Choose where to start

Start with a block, a complete UI flow, or a blank project.

  2. 2
    Match the app’s React setup

Choose the framework, package manager, styling, source root, and component folder already used by the project.

  3. 3
Choose how you will install blocks

Pick shadcn or your coding agent. You can change this preference later.

ResultCoBlick returns you to the block or UI flow you had selected, so you can continue without searching for it again.

Keep it accurate

Project settings guide future instructions and installation checks. Update them when the app changes framework, styling version, theme, package manager, source root, or component path.

Changing a path does not move filesMove existing files in your project yourself. The new setting applies to later work and requires installed blocks to be checked again.

Team access

Owners and administrators manage the project and its connections. Editors can install blocks. Viewers can read and comment.

Archiving a project removes it from active work and revokes its project tokens and coding agent connections. It does not delete files already added to your project.
