Find blocks
These tools return choices and previews. They do not download files or change the connected project.
search_blocksSearch by screen, pattern, category, or the job the UI needs to do. Input: query, with optional view, family, offset, and limit.recommend_blocksGet suggestions that take the connected project and its current blocks into account. Input: goal and optional limit.compare_blocksCompare a short list before choosing one. Input: two to four block names.list_blueprintsFind maintained sets of screens for a complete app flow. Input: optional query.get_blueprintRead the screens, order, setup notes, and availability for one UI flow. Input: blueprint id.
Review a block
Use these actions after you have a block name. They explain the work your app must provide before files are downloaded.
get_blockGet the preview, access level, current version, and customer guidance. Input: block name.get_block_documentationRead the data, actions, states, responsive behavior, accessibility, packages, and checks for one block. Input: block name.get_project_contextRead the connected project's framework, paths, theme, selected blocks, and update status. Input: optional detail level.list_block_updatesFind installed selections that have a newer catalog version. Input: optional includeCurrent flag.get_release_notesRead what changed and whether a replacement is available. Input: block name and optional limit.
Retrieve block files
Check the selected blocks first, read each block's file list, then download only the approved files. The coding agent writes those files into the project and should show conflicts before replacing anything.
validate_install_planCheck access, order, dependencies, and project compatibility before files are downloaded. Input: one or more block names, with optional project details.get_block_install_manifestGet the approved file list, dependencies, and retrieval instructions for one block. Input: block name.
Lower-level download actions
get_block_fileRead one approved source file. Large files can be continued from the returned offset. Input: block name, file path, and optional offset.create_source_bundlePrepare a short-lived download of all block files. Input: block name.read_source_bundleContinue that package until the returned next offset is empty. Input: bundle id and optional offset.
Downloads
A block download is tied to one project, block, and version. A prepared download expires after 10 minutes, but the coding agent can continue from its last byte while it remains available.
